HX35 or H1C upgrades... has anyone done this?

Postby Matt's'93 » Fri Sep 27, 2013 7:24 am

Hello I was just wondering if anyone has any actual personal experience upgrading compressor housings? I have read about them in magazines and read about them on the websites that sell them etc. I am just hoping that somebody may have actually done this and could tell me what they think. I'm not to worried about the performance not being what is advertised as much as I am about the RELIABILITY which is way more important to me. I am specifically looking at this companies components.

Thanks

Yeah but its gillet diesel services Kit,the 60mm on. It was installed with new bushings and turbin shaft and now has about 15k on it. That was one of the very first mods I did.

That thing sings so if you don't like noise get something else

I ran high tech turbo's 60mm upgrade and it was really nice. I used an old hx40 cartridge for mine with a wh1c turbine housing, wheel and shaft. I know of one guy who ran that bae one. He liked it quite a bit

What kind of manifold pressure will you get with this upgrade? I know all trucks are different. Ballpark for 92 2wd, manual, 3.55, all stock parts, and some pump tuning.

Thanks for the input guys! I have two H1C's laying around and an Hx I'm currently running so if something happened at least I have a couple back-ups.

With stock injectors and a touch of fuel....26 lbs is all I seen. With injectors and maxed fuel, about 38
