Injector port size

Postby 12vsvo » Sat Sep 15, 2007 10:11 pm

I’m looking to get a compression tester. Does anyone know the size of injector ports for the 5.9? Are they 24mm? Is that the same as older 80’s Mercedes? Is there a difference in between the 93 and 94’s? All I know is my 93 takes a 17mm wrench on the injector line nuts, and my 94 takes a 19mm. I wonder if this one will work from Harbor Freight?

the wrench size you are referring to is for the inj line. dont think you are gonna get any comp reading there...

prolly have to pull the inj and put their 'adp' in its place

just guessin, never done it so i could be wrong

I measured one of my retaining nuts and it looks like 23 or 24mm. Hope I was of some help.
