Photobucket pic work around gone...???

Well seems like photobucket finally got around to putting a patch on the work around on the missing pics, was working yesterday...not working today. The adding the "~original" to the pic URL is no longer working.

I checked the pics in my build thread and all the previously fixed pics are back to the pic ransom notice. Glad I got everything archived when I did.

I'm guessing that Photobucket is realizing people don't want to pay there insane price for picture hosting. I keep getting emails about it. They have it down to $99 a year now for use like we always used them. I figure if they bring it down to $50-75 a year a bunch of people will pay it.

Well I think it's too late no matter how low they go really, I know it's a matter of principle now for me since they were so unreasonable with their first ransom attempt. I wouldn't go back to them even if they opened up my account for free.
