I am a American!

Dear Mr President, Mr Senators, Mr Representatives,

I am righting this because of how I think my country is being handled. I do not like it and I am going to start speaking up. I am writing this because I want my friends to pass it along and I want those who disagree to read it only because their friends feel the same way. I am going to put this to audio soon so you can hear how I feel, let alone start receiving email and calls from people who are like me. I am a American and I started this!

I, sirs (for I wish to not call you by your titles), think you are ruining our country. I say that you are destroying the economy with your +$1 trillion BAILOUT package that 90% of municipalities can NOT obtain because of the bureaucratic red tape that they have to go through. Sure, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, they have staff employed FULL time whose strict business is to sort it out! WHAT?! So much requirements that require full time staff?! Who are you trying to kid? Well, you sure are a smooth talker! And to think you passed it with so much pork! What we really need is for YOU TO STAND DOWN! Do your job and make this a safe, thriving country, NOT lining your pockets or those you owe! This economy is going down the drain slowly and will have greater impact if you would have kept your GREEDY hands out of it! Yes, the economy would have plunged very quick, but guess what.... CAPITALISM would have filled the vacant void really quick! I am a American and I despise this!

Mr Obama, tell me how helping the UAW (United Auto Workers) get 50% plus stake in Chrysler (and very soon, General Motors) is going to help Chrysler? And tell me how YOU, sir, are above the LAW to say that they get first picks when the law explicitly says that the SENIOR TOP LENDERS get FIRST dibs? If it wasn't for the UAW, THEY WOULDN"T BE IN THIS PLACE AND TOYOTA (who being a "foreign" company does NOT pay certain taxes) WOULD NOT BE TAKING OVER THE MARKET! To force the Big Three to pay outrageous wages to people who do hardly anything (and pay some to go to bars when they are "working") will make ANY employer, including the United Sates of America, to go bankrupt! I work hard for my money, being payed fairly, and my company is doing GREAT! Go figure this one out? By the way, we are NOT union! I am a American and I will not tolerate this!

And who are you to force companies to take YOUR money (really though, OUR money) and force THEM to do your self-loving will, while claiming this will help the American people? Ummm, didn't USSR try that? What about China? Lets not go there. I am a American and I will not let this happen!

Mr Senators (especially those of you who call yourselves conservatives), you have disappointed me. to call yourselves conservatives and yet still pass a BUDGET and a BAILOUT package that equaled more money than George W Bush spent in 8 YEARS is OUTRAGEOUS! AND I MEAN OUTRAGEOUS! You guys are low. Speak out! Run television commercials, ANYTHING to get your people motivated. We elected you, do your JOB! Tell us what is going on and keep us informed on what you are doing! Get us motivated! Do you realize that most of us do NOT know what is going on behind the scenes? All we get is what the liberal media tells us and you KNOW it is almost NEVER accurate! I am a American and I am ashamed!

Mr Obama, again, you are bringing change. Change that is ruining MY AMERICA! Yea you won the election but not by a land slide in my book. You won the electoral votes (Huh? And why do we have this STUPID system?) but when you counted the popular votes, a couple million difference is NOT a landslide! You sir really got voted into office only because of your color! I am not racist and think it would have been great to have a black president, or Latin American, or a woman in office but that does NOT make it the right choice! The choice needs to really be made about your convictions (ones that you hold and not the ones you pretend to have), your plan (again, not the one that makes everyone thinking you are on their side when you have one of your own), and your leadership, which you have VERY little! I am a American and I did not vote for YOU!

I, sirs, am practicing my God-given, Constitution-driven right to SPEAK OUT!

I AM A AMERICAN AND I LOVE MY GOD, MY FAMILY, AND MY COUNTRY AND I WILL NOT LET YOU PEOPLE DESTROY IT WITHOUT A FIGHT!

Amen. Our founding fathers would roll over in their graves if they saw how big this government has become. Heck even 60 years ago, it was bigger than it was ever intended to be. Dont forget to thank FDR, and the last Bush for the govt expansion/ explosion, either.

I would proof read that before I forwarded it on. The first sentence "I am righting this" ???huh??? Try (writing), if you sent this to your state representative or other government officials they would just buckle down and cut school funding even more because it obviously isn't working. LOL

These rants on here do nothing but fuel arguments. Try writing a real letter to your state representative about your personal concerns. I think you would be quite surprised at how much attention you can really get.

I can't vouch for missouri but around here the reps speak up or they don't get re elected.

I recently changed my affiliation to the Alaska Independence Party. We are fed up with being treated like squatters in a National Park.

I'm still officially affiliated with the elephants, but tend to have more Libertarian leanings (you know, what the Reps USED to be- small govt, keep more of your money, support thyself, etc). It's too bad more people havent taken that test to find out if you are libertarian, conservative, liberal, or anarchist- it may open some peoples' eyes. I got a 90% on both the personal and fiscal sides, putting me far toward the Libertarian end.
