You're only as old as the women you feel! ;)

Some days I feel 50, some it's 16.

I've owned a number of vehicles in my life. '56 Chevy with race cam and other stuff, many GM and Ford products, MB's, Toyota, VW's, etc. Had a Mustang SVO that I spun twice in the rain in rush hour traffic and never left my lane. I loved the way that car handled. Four motorcycles. I did a few things to the motor on the last one. Have you ever picked the front wheel of a 600# Harley off the ground? Ohyah! Crewed for my best friend for a number of years when he was racing sprinters. That was fun. But about a year ago when I bought into a camp grounds in the Sierras I decided that I needed a 4x4 diesel truck. Well, in my mind, the only one that I wanted was one of those old Dodge CTDs. Didn't know that they were referred to as 1st Gens. So, I started looking on craigslist. Well the ads stated that this, that and the other thing were added and changed and the pricing was $4k-$9k. A good deal? Didn't know. So I read a few mags and diesel forums. And I decided that I wanted one stock. I found Brute 175 miles away. Bought it from the widow of the man who bought it new. An LE Xcab, 4x4, 518, bucket seats with full power and it all works for $2800.

Thanks to you gentlemen I now know enough to be dangerous. I'll build Brute to my liking. It's almost like my 21/2 year old and 4 month old grand daughters-I'm in love again.
