Got the new master cylinder and brake booster on. The first m/c they gave me, was in the right box, BUT, the wrong one inside of it.
Pulled the left rear drum off for a leaky seal, and found all sorts of "fun" in there........ Not to mention, the wheel wasn't far from coming off on its own. The keeper for the nylok nut was no where to be found, and the nut was backing off (no doubt it has been causing some of my vibrations in the rear end). Threads on spindle and bearing OK, but nut is junk. Adjuster isn't where is supposed to be. Was jammed up (vertically) into the bottom shoe. Has rolled around in there long enough to render it useless. Teeth polished off, so it can't be adjusted at all. Needless to say, that isn't in the hardware kit I picked up......
Have the front aluminum wheels polished up, and installed. Tires that are on those rims are still good enough to run for a while. The ones that were on the truck are getting bad (cracks and damaged lugs on tires causing vibrations). Grease in the front hubs looked really nice yet, so I left them alone for now. Bearings haven't any play at all.

Need to polish the rear rims yet. Hope I can get the rear back together tomorrow, so I can go to WI for the weekend!
