I hate it when the kids are sick, nobody sleeps. And they just look so forlorn sitting there 1/2 alive on the couch watching cartoons. :(

Finally made some legit headway on the RC. Got all the front brake lines bent and ran, new bearings and seals in a set of Chevy hubs on Bill's old axle, the old front springs off the old Dodge, and I threw poly spring eye bushings in it for good measure. I've got to get some 9/16 lugnut for the front wheels, throw my other 3.07 rear axle under it, and have a rear driveshaft made.

Is that rc 2wd? Looks good so far.

On another note my latest flash on jaeger makes it run super smooth

Yup, 4wd.

I may throw together a 2wd one with all these 2wd pickup frames I somehow keep acquiring.

Thanks, Andy. It felt damn good closing the shop doors after today, I busted some major ass on that thing. Barely even got hurt either, just smashed my thumb with a hammer and dropped some torch slag in my ear. 8)

Well I spent this weekend doing nothing. I slept off an on all day yesterday running a fever from the infection caused by my diverticulitis. Im able to move around some today but my stomach is still hurting me. Guess I'll be moving slow at work tomorrow.

I was on call this weekend, and worked 7 hours Saturday, and 6.5 hours Sunday. It's all double time so I won't complain

Yeah I get 92 hours a year but I'm down to 24 and trying to save it. Its not bad today but still sore in my stomach. I'm a state employee so we get tons of time off every year.

yeah, I've been trying to save mine, it rolls over from year to year so if I don't use a lot of it then I'll have quite a bit racked up. My kids and wife get more use out of it than I do it seems like.

Yeah ours rolls over too. I had a couple years worth saved up until I screwed my knee up at work and got screwed over.

I did some much needed maintenance on the van and farmall today. I was 1000 miles over my oil change and front brake pads were 100% gone. I had the replacement pads and rotors sitting here for months just waiting for warmer weather. 63 degrees today!!!!!! :D I also replaced the battery and had the starter rebuilt on the farmall. I'd been hand cranking it for years - it starts so easy now! 8) Now to sell it...so I can buy a loader tractor.

Anybody else been holding off maintenance for warmer weather?
