Took a trip into the big city with my truck this evening with my son. Got lined up with a mazda6 at a stoplight and he thought he was gonna out run me. Didn't work out well for him. Tyler was watching him the whole time and said dude was on the phone, and dropped his phone when he started banging gears lol.

Don't have one. All those usually do is show how slow I am at getting anything finished.

I may throw one together as I get a little more done. Waiting on the last bunch of parts to come in and been working on brackets to mount the bed.

It'll be a nice ride regardless. I've been considering a dually project for quite awhile now....I'm getting to the point of just doing it to an old 95 single cab dodge I have. The interior keeps me at bay on it tho lol. The dash moved out a long time ago on it lol.
After painting the dodge,I lost the desire to work on it as far as body. If I dualed it.....I want bedsides, and those fenders are nearly impossible to find down here.

I have a dually bed from a 98 that has about 250 kilometers tops on it, so it's in perfect shape. It's red though

The story on that is pretty funny, he called me one night asking if I had any inner fenders. Said he wrecked his Jeep and needed to get something on the road ASAP so he was gonna throw together his 4x4. I offered him some inner fenders and whatever else he needed for free, run them as long as he needed. Sent him some pics, none of it was perfect but nothing was too bad either. "I'll call you back."

The next day he sent me a text saying he'd found some rust-free inner fenders somewhere and asking about those Alcoas and 4" downpipes. A week after that, he sent me that pic of the cab all polished, exhaust hanging, and talking about buying a flatbed.

I gave up and just started enjoying pics, we apparently have different ideas about what ASAP means.

I was thinking of going with that same setup and ditching the 17's that are on currently, since they are just about worn out and are shaking pretty good.

I've been kicking around the idea of running 19.5's though, as I can get good used tires for next to nothing or even free. I feel that converting my factory SRW W350 into a DRW will take away some of it's uniqueness...and it'd end up being a flatbed too.
