You guys might get a kick out of this. I was browsing craigslist and ran across a 81' OMC diesel skid steer listed for a grand. For such a ridiculously low price I couldn't help but call. It was predictably already sold, but the guys name was Dan Puckett. What are the odds of that?

They say the first step is admitting you have a problem... Here goes.

Today I built a shelf for all my 1st gen stuff that needed to stay drier than it would in the barn. It's 8' long, 2' deep, and has 3 layers. That's 48 square feet of space.

It's already full. That does not include my bench in the barn, measuring 4' by 8', with stuff piled up on and under it. One truck sure needs a heck of a supporting cast to keep it running, driving, and looking decent.

That's nothing Caleb. I have a 30' box full of Dodge and Ford parts, a 8'loft at my house plus countless other areas.

I've got a set of steel pallet racks from a factory I used to work at, the HD ones that interlock, its 12ft tall, 10ft long, 4ft deep, loaded, completely. The bottom shelf, 2 6bts, 2 trans and a tcase. Next 2 shelf's everything else. Complete dash, laundry totes full of misc pieces worth saving, marker lights, hinges, anything in thought I may need one day. Driveshafts, hoods, fenders, grills hanging from the walls, gf says I have an addiction
There's still stuff outside, frames, springs, stuff I can't or dont care to store inside
It's twin unit is loaded with military truck parts, tires, and the remnants of other hobbies

All I have is new stuff. This month I'm ordering gauges for jaeger (tomorrow) and rods for The Roo Hunter (around the 16th, Carrillo's) there's at least 4 boxs of stuff. There's my h1c, hybrid (you still want that Ellis? Sorry for not getting back to you) s480 I can't use on The Roo Hunter, the s480 I can use on The Roo Hunter (though that's sitting on The Roo Hunter's frame) and 2 boxes in the shop. Then there's 2 boxes sitting in my room (cam and valvetrain from Hamilton) and an intake from pusher.

I'm a little drunk I'll admit (good thing I don't work tomorrow) my train of thought/ logic isn't going as it probably should

I wish I had a couple of semi trailers or a conex or 2, cause the day I have to move it all us gonna suck. You guys know how hard it us to find good parts, so I kept as much as I could, plus when I visit a pick and pull, I'll buy stuff cause its nice, may use it one day. Dodges of this vintage are rare up here, gotta hord what I can.
Its not just parts, I'm a welder by trade, so I've got steel everywhere, buy it when its cheap, or a shop is closing down, selling inventory. Naturally, tools that go along with the trade. Idk, just come across stuff, think I could use it, sell or dispose of as needed or somebody wants it.

I hear admitting is like the 3rd step to recovery, maybe I do have a problem...

I've collected some parts over the years but its mainly whole or mostly whole trucks lol....I have 3 parts trucks in various states, 2 cummins trucks D350 c&c and a w250, a w350 frame and cab and nothing else except springs and a couple things. 1 parts crew cab, 1 crew cab cummins as my "daily" driver, plus all the little stuff I've pulled out of trucks. I will admit that probably besides the stuff listed I scrapped quite a bit because mom was getting mad because it was looking like a junk yard lol.

One day I'll have to break down and buy a smart phone. I'm anti-iPhone as can be so I'm looking into the Droid Maxx. Great battery life is likely the most important smart phone feature in my book, right after conversation view for texts. I can never remember what I said last

Caterpillar makes a cell phone. Runs android os. Is supposed to be waterproof, and tough

My iPhone 5 is pissing me off. Since ios7 came out it's been shutting down like the battery is dead at anywhere from 4-30% battery life. That is really annoying especially since iOS 6 never did anything like that

When I started my 82, I could literally build two whole trucks. Now.....not so much,I've thrown away a lot since getting that thing going.

So I ordered gauges for jaeger. 100psi boost, 2000* pyro, and 30k psi rail pressure. Now I wait, and at some point this weekend get back at The Roo Hunter's turbo setup. Then around the 16th I'll order my rods
