I believe it was a coat hanger actually, the infamous "coat hanger throttle mod". That was back in my high HP days though, now I'm happy with a normal rod end.

Another ve bit the dust this week... Dads started leaking fuel real bad and sucking air where it was leaking, so it got sent in today for a full rebuild, told him he better break out his checkbook if it was as bad as mine was

Added another diesel to the stable. 1984 Mercedes 300D, Turbo Diesel. Fastest thing I've ever driven.







Started no problem in the single digit weather we had.

Doesn't KTA have a pretty mean Mercedes diesel like that? Maybe not, but I could have sworn he had one that was fairly hopped up.

He does have one. He has a few actually (last time I checked) but I think only one is modified. Here is a dyno run of it.

I need to apologize to BC, I borrowed your signature. We're having a dyno day in May, and somebody said my truck will probably take them all. So the dyno operator wanted to know what I had. I said it was just a little ol' 1st gen dodge with a set of injectors, stacks and a flatbed. Just your typical farm truck.
