Gotta be more than that,or it's the blue paint.

Honestly I like the truck,I'd like to do something like that but with a chevy. They're more common than the dodge counterparts. Parts are easier to get as well.
Oh just to find that "right" one.

The crew ferd ran all day today with fresh oil and that rev-x stuff. Guess we'll see if it starts up better in the morning.

from the back of the front door to the rear of the cab is roughly 3'4". I Briefly thought about buying a crewcab furd (93) but that thought left my mind rather quickly lol....I really want mine to be a dually.

So far Mines started everytime :D I think the Rattily engine has something to do with that though lol.

I bought mine already swapped. The po did all the work. Lets just say he shoudnt be allowed to wire ANYTHING. I had to fix it once or twice a week just to get to work...and that was 3 miles down the road.

So question.....if you was going to swap a crew to 4wd. Would you run

A) a divorced 205 and keep the getrag
Or
B) swap in the a518\205 setup.
or
C) convert 518 to lockup\205 setup.

If its parts I had I'd build the 518 and put in myself. I've never cared for how the get rag felt shifting. That's just me though.

I'd go divorced with the getrag. Mostly because not many people see one so it'd be a good conversation starter

It shifts like any other manual in a 3/4 or ton truck. Unless it's a ford your comparing, then you grind'em till you find them
I can shift mine pretty fast, faster than the truck likes to go ;)

I say leave the manual in it regardless.

Leave the man trans! Its like a theft deterrent around here. Personally, I hate autos so Id go with whatever option will hang a clutch pedal in front of you.

Divorced 205's in both Dodge and Ford varieties are quite plentiful around here, seen them as cheap as $150...it would be pretty easy to twin stick it too since there wouldn't be clearance issues...

There's a possibility I may be able to buy a 97 dodge that has a destroyed clutch. That is if the owners decide they don't want to fix it

:D my thoughts exactly.......I don't need a twin stick but ever since I was little I've always wanted a truck with a twin stick....and now I want a doubler with 203\205 with a triple stick. why I don't know.....especially in a crew. I have a 205 divorced but it needs gone through. Do you know if I can use parts out of a married 205 in a divorced 205?

Inputs are obviously different, not sure on outputs. I would guess they are the same. Most small parts are interchangeable regardless of what it was in. Best thing to do is put them side by side, pull the yokes, count the splines and see if stuff matches up.
