Wow. I don't know how but the passenger side rear window on my 4th gen just shattered tonight. I just opened the door and heard stuff falling. Didn't think anything of it until I went to reflash my truck, and low and behold there's glass all over

My fiance ran across this email I had sent her a while back, it told of a story about being pulled over by a police officer.
Enjoy

"I was driving home from prayer service one night and this cop was tailing me so I slowed down so he'd pass...and he wouldn't but eventually he pulled me over. He went through his whole spiel and he asked me to get out. Well you know I pulled you over cause your license plate light is out, I pointed to it and said "ummm, it's on officer" He said "well, your brother turned around several times." I told him cause he was tailing me and I wanted to know who was tailing me. Then he said "well, you were weaving." I replied with "your lights were blinding me so I was trying to move my mirrors out off line with your lights." His next response was "Well, you were going 10mph under speed limit." He Got Me!!! lol That's why I got pulled over, I was goin slow lol. But then he asked where I was going and I told him I just left church and am going to prayer group. He then responded with "oh".

I got pulled over today for excessive smoke  .

Yes, I deserved it. I felt very sheepish when talking to the officer. I simply stated "I'm sorry, I was not thinking and honestly didn't really mean to. I just simply wasn't paying attention and was driving it like a gasser".

Warnings for; Excessive smoke, mud flaps, exhaust, fender flares, bumper height, tabs were expired (flipping forgot about that, now they are good though  ), and no insurance card in the vehicle.

Ticked for no seat belt - $10

No seatbelt is $75 here and a point on your license.

They can suck it on fender flares. My tires don't stick out passed the fender.

As far as mudflaps...I have 35" of tire showing.... they are needed.

My brother in law was an officer for something like 15 years (just left for the railroad).... when I was 21, we pulled up my stuff (he didn't believe me when I said I had been pulled over like 50 times). Everything gets recorded.... we spent a few hours looking up my name.... at that point I had been pulled over something like 80 some odd times. I now have been pulled over more than 100 times in my life. I'm going to say it has been a safe bet that 75 of those times were things such as exhaust, mud flaps, fender flares, etc... Crap, I've been pulled over a half a dozen times just in the last few months. All for exhaust, mudflaps, or bumper height.

I've received 4 speeding tickets (3 were excessive), 2 seat belt tickets, and probably 20 random bs tickets like "trailer lights, registration, no tie downs on trailer, etc.." Today was the first ticket I've received in almost 10 years though.

I've never been pulled over, but I once got a ticket for careless driving (it's like $600 and 6 points) I fought it and got it reduced to passing in the left lane and failing to return to the right safely (it was like $140 and 3 points)

Another couple funnies, had a HP follow me back to my parents house in a country housing development to pull me over in front of their house for a bad tail light. Also, after getting pulled over for speeding while passing and a burnt headlight, I got pulled over about an hour later in another county still on my way home for the burnt headlight and he was going to ticket me then found out I had just been pulled over for it...
