FYI, I found a new 12cm housing with the wastegate actuator on E-Bay for $199. Should be here tomorrow.

My studs and springs came in today. Tomorrow I'll be ordering a headgasket, and the head is coming off this weekend as jaeger has started spewing white smoke if I do much over 100.

Nothing came for my truck today and I like it that way. Stuff coming in means it's going to go through a spell of unreliability and I'm going to feel broke for a while.

I think I would throw up if my 2012 truck already had to have the engine pulled apart.

Ahh so true. I thought mine was fine for this last weekend since I'd already done one trip without any issues. Well that thought went out the window when we got to Calgary, and the oil drain for the turbo started leaking, so the whole underside of my truck is coated in oil, and I have to swap to the way 1st and 2nd gen oil drains are set up (nipple permanently in the block with a piece of 7/8's hose between the 2 pieces) and now this issue. Kind of makes me wish I'd done studs the same time as the turbo.

I do have almost 100,000km's on mine already, and I've been pushing the limits of fuelling for half the time I've owned it. Many people have had more issues with their trucks earlier than me. Frankly I'm a little surprised it went this long

Broke out my engineering tools and figured out a way to solid-mount an air cylinder and still have it work a rotary valve without binding. 8)

I miss my Knex, I used to be a beast with them.

Never mind, I figured it out.

So.....I watched the HBO show Deadwood, at some Facebook posts urging and suggestion that it was a good show.

:? Well, that show sucks. It was like watching "days of our lives" with cursing and boobs being flashed. The main reason I even tried watching it was because of Timothy olphant (sp), the guy off of Justified. I like that show and thought being he plays in this one it would be good, sadly I was wrong.
