I say do the 10. Mainly because the good tuning options are right there with no need to wait for anything before applying more powers of the horse

This is after I cleaned a bunch of it up, but the lower water line that you can see running over the oil cooler decided to wiggle loose over the 3 months it's been like that. Since I have zero bracing on that line it's kind of an inevitability that it'll happen again if I don't mid the line, and get it so there's more than a zip tie holding it. Ahh the joys of doing something different from a "kit"

My baby's first day of school. A solid pass so far, but we'll see if I make it home this afternoon.

Bone stock, I moved the linkage to the inside hole but haven't pulled the high-idle screw yet. It also came with pre-broken plastic rod ends, so I tied them together with tie wire.

Not to my knowledge,I just get the new regulator w/ motor. I think there is about 20$ diff in the reg w/ motor and the one w/o.
Get this tho,the aftermarket I have received here lately had a square slider thingermabob instead of the plastic wheel.

Turn out some wheels from brass, Zach. 8)

I weighed the RC tonight, 5680 with a full tank. What a porker. :?
This pig weighs as much as the Dodge with the Getrag.

I've been reading up on the transfer cases, I'll probably snag the 241 that came in the RC stock and swap it for the 205 I'm rocking now. Lose a few lbs and get the lower low range, it's apparently all interchangeable from the bolt pattern to the output splines.

Also, apparently you can use the trans mount from the RC's original drivetrain and it'll match your crossmember holes back up without redrilling. I'll give that a shot and report back as well.

I noticed the diesel mount's leg mounts about an inch farther towards the passenger side, maybe to give it more leverage against the engine?

So it turns out when I arced out a wrench during my 2nd gen swap I melted a hole in my passenger side battery. That might explain some of the harder starting possibly

Custom tuning can make the automatics much better. Mine still pisses me off often, but it's better than when it was stock. If you decide on a manual a 2010 would be the best of the 4th gens
