It didn't really hurt the engine, he just pulled it to be safe since it was at 5k rpms for several seconds. Plus he had the other one almost ready to install. Think he said it was the rubber drive coupler for the governor that went in the pump. He had to pull the pump back off because the whole system was full of rubber chunks and it's causing him problems.

That pic he posted of cylinder 6 didn't look good. It was scared up.

Well it looks like an idler or 2 on the front of jaegers cummins are worn out as they've begun to squeak. Luckily it's only when the engine is running though, so dodged a bullet there

Looks good Eric. Looks a bit down on power at the moment though (I'd love to tune one of those sometime)

The Huntress: 02 Jetta TDI. No muffler, egr, horsepower

Then, I'm not sure (ok I am, but we know how things are changed).... but It'll most likely see 2 stages. First being mild... custom tuning, 62fmw, and mild 30% injectors..... 2nd being 62/75 or 80, with twin or upgraded cp3 (not sure yet) and probably 75% overs.

This will be the FIRST truck that I have ever owned that will stay at stock height. Going for comfort, and raw stinking bad quickness. BUT I'm currently all about doing the mild, but matched set ups.

I'd go bigger on the injector in both stages (I'd probably say 60% for stage 1, and 100-125% for stage 2). That way you can run very low duration, and time it very carefully to get more usable, cleaner power. For cp3 go dual without question. They respond much faster, and it gives you a backup in case one fails

Yeah...I'm going to bed lol......if he would think about it he would figure it out...I'm thinking now he's into deep with his whole 180 out and can't go back in fear of looking stupid.....which is to late lol...
92 D350 Cab and Chassis. Auto stock, wiring gremlins. 330k miles
92 W250 Ext cab rotted completely out. Auto, pump maxed, 215 ppump nozzles, Denny T2 pin.
85 D350 single wheel, converted to cummins, getrag, turned up 2 turns and afc screw flush.
