It's just a little over 400 pounds. 232kg's is the shipping weight (works out to 511 pounds. Though I think that includes the shipping crate)

Another successful hydroboost install, another case of whiplash backing out of the shop. :lol:

It's crazy what a difference those things make.

On another note it appears jaegers valve covers are no long sealing as there's oil all over them, and the back of the engine

I'd check the specs on it... one thing I've learned, never trust the shipping weight. I'm not sure how some companies seem to get away with it, but you wouldn't believe how often I get things that say "x" weight on it and the weight is WAY off from what it actually weighs.

Just like today for example. BD 16cm exhaust housing, sent one out today in the exact package that I received it from BD... showed shipping weight of 8.6 pounds. It weighed 13.3 exactly how it arrived. :shock:

452 lbs dry. Pretty light for a bike that size. I used to have a 2000 Honda CBR 600, weighed 375 lbs dry, 110 hp. It could cruise along in 6th gear at 50 kph, or drop it down to 3rd and wind it up to 13000 rpm and 190 kph. Top speed was about 260 kph. 0-60 in 2.8, 1/4 in 10.9. The handle bars would buzz my hands to sleep after an hour of riding 100 kph, but at 140 kph or higher it smoothed right out. Best fuel mileage was around 140 kph as well. I miss my bike. :(

Yeah for a bike considered a cruiser by Ducati standards it's very light. It actually has a more upright riding position than my dads Ducati st4 which has all the bags on it, and the roll on power is pretty wicked. It'd be neat to get a 1199 panigale. More than 180hp, and sub 400 pound dry weight it'd be a blast at the track

Eventually it'll get some more red, but nothing huge (4" or so tall stripe on the body line below the windows, possibly a pinstripe on chrome rims, maybe fill the faux vents with red) it'll be classy though. Not trashy like all those color matched things these days
