I hate living in the rust country! I was talking to my bud with an '02 Cummins truck last week and he mentioned Rock Auto had tranny cooler lines for our trucks and he needed to get some. Fast forward to today when I noticed a red stain in the driveway. At 1pm I pulled the '97 in and saw the line was leaking by the starter. So I pull it down to get at it and decided to cut it and patch it with a piece of fuel hose left over from an Air Dog install, 300psi stuff. So I get it back in and start the truck and it looks fine. I check it again in a minute and saw a leak about a foot behind the 1st one and on the other line. Then I notice the leak on the 1st line over below the heat exchanger. So now it's 2:30 and the parts place closed at 2. I split a piece of hose and tried to use it like a bandaid with a clamp, no go. I gave up and went inside and spent $150 at Rock Auto on a complete set of lines. It's actually pretty cheap, but with Christmas coming I sure didn't need to spend that kind of money. :( Then I went back out and repositioned my bandaid and it still didn't work. Now I hope it doesn't snow any time soon because I don't have a truck to clear the driveway with.

I blame it all on Jimmy, he's the one that mentioned it!

You're just like Caleb now Pete. Blaming your trucks problems on completely innocent people. Next thing you know you'll be buying a Ford, and coming out of the closet

Not me,I have that schit done! Didn't even drive anywhere to do any of it either, happen all off my phone. I do however take the girl child out the weekend before Christmas tho,but I don't mind driving around with her. We normally just get some dinner and head to hobby lobby for a gift for my wife and the two grannies from her. It's fun,usually....this year we have to take the chevy. When we are in the dodge she'll ask me to "blow smoke" she gets a kick out of it.

well crap, got a failure to start on the 93, turns over good, no fuel. Has a steady drip coming from between the injection pump and block, guessing I might be loosing the prime. Gonna put a meter on the solenoid terminal and see if I've got 12 volts. thoughts?
93 w250 6 speed 4" exhaust, caution, work truck, she's no beauty. building 1 ton dually 4x4, dana 80, 48rh, 205 Scratch the one ton, bought frt. dually 4x4 98 12 valve with the tiny rear doors. rides so much better than the 93.
