Probably never crossed his mind.

Yes it did, I decided not to because of the quick coupler things up front, no good way to couple to them. I also thought about just getting 300psi hose and using that on it, but then I have to fasten it up somehow. Today I went to NAPA and bought 5 feet of 1/2" trans hose at $5 a foot to patch it up until the new lines get here. :(

Never going to happen! I may come out, but I'll never buy a ford! :P

Jetta broke 90K miles on the way home from work this morning. I've got 300 miles on this tank of fuel and I still have more than half a tank left, I'm liking this a lot.

I've been getting back into being a post whore in the 1st gen section lately too. There's just more uninformed people in the 4th gen section that need correcting.

That's some good mileage Parker. I've been getting 300 miles between fill ups on jaeger, and that's with a 34.6 gallon tank. Jaeger also just turned over 70k miles

I'm thinking its the winter diesel, and the amount of idling it does now that's hurting mileage so bad. 13.2mpg was the last tank. While I only do 300 miles it's only down to 1/4 tank. I don't like going below that for fuel pump reasons

It probably is. The chevy is down to 18 and 17 mpgs right now, that's even using lots of additives.

The economy in the 06 dropped from 17.5 on a stock tune and summer fuel to 16.0 with efi on winter blend. So that tells me it made a big difference being winter fuel.

The RC used to drop anywhere from 3-6mpg on winter fuel, depending on how I had the timing set.

It gets to the teens mostly, but only in January....about middle ways. It's tollerable till the freakin wind comes in. It and the blasted moisture we have will make it cold as hell for awhile. We get just as chapped as you northerners. just no snow to shovel or plow.
