according to the injector chart 160-180 was 5x9 and 215 was 5x10. I'm not sure it would be worth the time with messing with them then. I have 215 nozzles in my 1st gen and was going to swap them back on to 2nd gen bodies for a guy but I don't think it will be worth the hassle for him to run them with such a small gain.

I was just going by this:
INJECTOR CHART

stock 1st gen inj - 6x.009" = .000380" total cross sectional area

non ic inj - 4x.013 = .000531 ( larger than ic inj)

2nd gen inj - these vary depending on model

160 hp- 5x .008

175 hp 5x .009

180 hp 5x.009

215 hp - 5x.010 (0.000393)

ic 1st gen injectors flow more than any 2nd gen injector, except a 215 tip.... which flows 5% more.

Jeff, you need a GMC Syclone. 4.3L, turbo, auto, AWD. You had your choice of colors, as long as it was black. That truck would eat ZR1 corvettes for lunch, just awesome. I was looking at one back in '90 but it was twice as much money as the S10 I bought, for $14k.

That's because they would scatter the transfer cases.

When I was at UTI there was a boy that had one,of course by then it was beat to death and a real pos. When it ran right it was strong tho.

Anyone remember the Mitsubishi starion turbo cars,I think dodge had one made by mitsu just with different badges. Those were fun.

The Dodge model was the taylon. Mitsue was the Eclipse. Twin tubo V6's. Those little suckers could haul real good. I put a few miles on a mitsue model a friend owned.

Anybody else feel like tuning your own truck is really cool? I'm going to stick with with pilot tunes until summerish, because I think some hidden maps are kicking in and adding pilot to my no pilot tunes. I'm also pretty sure I had too much timing in the bottom end as I was having trouble spooling my turbo below 2000 rpm. Switched to with pilot and it got way more responsive. I was also getting injector circuit open codes if I punched it on performance. I lowered my duration in one area on my latest tune, and I'll see if it still throws those codes. I've also been using tow/hall mode as I like the way it shifts
