The mounting on them changed some where around 96?? they went from a side mount to a top side mount I believe or the other way around. you can run it with out the top mount or reglue it to make it work.

Do any of you have a shifter stub sitting around from a trashed G360 shifting assembly?

I will eventually, but that's still quite a few months away

Which kind? The threaded one or the one with two bolts that mount the lever?

Parker, all the same up to '01. If the mounting is a little different I just cut off the tab or adjust it so it will fit and put a screw in the new mount spot. I have AM/FM/CD/ Cassette players in everything, '92 and '97 trucks and the wifes '98 Breeze. The good thing about the newer radios is they have a capacitor or a chip memory because if you unhook the battery you don't lose the stations, only the time setting. 8)

I was pleasntly suprised that my pile started at -8 easily this morning, had it plugged in, tank filled and heavily treated with Howe's yesterday. I was a bit worried for a minute, my fuel pressure was very low for about the first 30 seconds or so and all I could think of was "crap, not this again", but it came up and ran like a champ all the way to work. Still can t get much heat out of it for some reason, but had enough to take the edge off and keep the toes warm. We are supposed to get -15 or colder this weekend though...

-9 degrees here. Who knows what the wind chill is.

I have the early model grid heater controller so my Dodge starts better now than it does at 20 degrees. Go figure.

anything below 40*, i gotta put a piece of cardboard between the intercooler and rad to get any kind of heat in the 1stgen

I was really surprised the old PSD started without being plugged in today.

I didn't have to use my quitter can yet but I'm fully prepared to. She cranked over about 15 times this morning but I knew it wasn't cold enough to not take off so I went for it.

For anyone else with no grids that can safely ether their truck, if you take a short piece of wire and bend it 180*, you can yank your start relay plug and jump your starter within easy spray distance of the air filter. 8) (I would tell you to make sure it's in neutral, but I fail to see how someone could own a vehicle this old and not have the common sense for that.)

Also, Ike, how's your vacuum? There's a little underhood valve on your heater hoses that closes off the coolant when the selector isn't in the hot. If it's bad or your vacuum isn't what it should be, it'll make your heater suck. My booster is leaking so I have to give my truck a good rev to pull enough vacuum to open it.
