Don't see the need to start a new thread over it, but I've got to know. Any idea what the hell this plug does?

'91, all power harness going into an '89 gasser Ramcharger. No plug like it on the RC and it was waaaay too dark to see it on the other cab when I got home. :(

That goes to the tail lights I think. Goes out thru the rubber grommet under the steering column.

Pete's got it. Looks the same as the one on my 91...

So I think my 4th gens transmission keeps throwing the truck into a limp mode. It'll still make 22psi of boost, but it just isn't the 36 it'll make otherwise. A revmax 850 might come sooner than initially planned

No he didn't. I'll be out there working on the truck.

Yeh. He said you might be.

I am now a built auto guy. The only other trans I'd have in a pick-up is a 10 speed.

With just direct (no O/D), I can get cooking. O/D will be scary.

Yea that why I did a body swap on mine. To much salt air from MI and IN.

Well, that sucks. Thanks for the info, guys.

I threw the '92 harness on the engine with the '91 cab harness. Nothing is happening when I hook the battery up, and even less happens when I turn the key.

I'll sniff around my diagrams and the stuff Ellis has uploaded and see if I've even got a chance of this working.

Kind of a long shot, but does anyone have a pin out of the 92-93 bulkhead connector? I've got the pin outs for the 89 and 91 harness, just kinda trying to figure out where the hell my power is going. :?

Awesome, thanks, Philip!! And Ellis. :P

Apparently the only wire that is different is #24. It's the OD indication light on '93's that apparently the older stuff didn't have.

Crap. :?

I don't want a 48re in my 4th gen. Some have had issues with surging, and I like the extra gears. If I wreck the 850 then I might switch to a 48
