Well had it up to 120 kph vibe free, so I can actually use it on the highway now. Going to get an alignment Friday or Saturday, gotta see if I can get the drivers tie rod broke loose so the alignment shop doesn't gotta screw with it. Gave it an oil change with 5w50 and half a at of Motorcote, which it seems to like, much quicker to rev up. Gonna try this stuff in the w250 eventually as well. A new air filter and maxed timing ( as much as I could advance it at idle without backfiring ) pepped it up a little more. I'm guessing 20 hp compared to when I got it with dirty oil and filter, and fully retarded stock timing.
Fired up the dodge and got it into the shop to defrost after shovelling and brushing most of the snow off of it. It started charging around 16-17 bolts for a couple mins while cleaning it out, then it went back to normal. Shut it off in the alley to pull the 4runner out of the shop, and when I went to start it I got a click and a big puff of smoke from a fusible link I believe, that two wired black thing running off the positive terminal. Had to jump underneath and short the solenoid to start it. Seems like every time this thing site for any amount of time it has random electrical issues lol. It's going to be a drivetrain donor eventually anyways.
