Looks good.

That bed has to go. It would look better with a dually bed. Let me know when you get back to the world and I'll cure that problem for you.

Lincoln I was kidding about the bed has to go. I do not like a PU bed. So that western hauler looks a lot better to me.

Here is a better pic of the bed on my truck.

The 92 dually listed in my sig needs a flatbed to. :D

the guy i bought it off of took that bed off a F550 ford superduty and cut it down to fit the truck, the bed is only about 5 years old and new it probably cost what i paid for the whole truck, it has a newer radiator, tranny, alternator, 10 ply tires, aluminum wheels, in the 8 years he had the truck he drove it 15K miles, the truck only has 136K on it......its going to get repainted all white though, to match my 90, and my 1996.......

i havent showed off my other 1st gen here either, its a 1977 D350 extended cab dually with a 440/auto, air, and cruise, 71,xxx miles and its all original except the paint and a few other small details.....

Phillip, I was joking too. Sometimes I forget how things read. If you heard the way I was saying it you would have been able to tell I was joking. The w350 in my sig had a bed just like his when I bought it. The only reason its off is Im slowly building a welding bed for it.

Loganstanforth,

Those are both sharp trucks. Are you going to put a cummins in the 77 d350?

no.......i dont have the heart too.....its too nice of a truck with only 70K on the clock plus factory cruise and A/C, its going to get redone next winter, all the small rust spots fixed and repainted back blue instead of green.......the light blue the chargers get......ive got the 90, 93, and 96 cummins trucks (who knows how many more ill have later).......i still love the big block though, when i tear it apart im going to throw a set of aluminum heads on the engine though......cant beat aluminum big block heads for 800 bucks a set......

i like the 77. dunno if i could own one though, as the 70's dashes make me wanna vomit.

if i keep my truck and put a crew body on it, i may put a 70's clip and bed on it, but its a small possibility.

There was a 70's dodge for sale last month. It was bought brand new and never registered , just stored. It had like a hundred miles on it. The guy was asking 15,000 for it.

I dont blame ya. Low milage, and clean as it is. It will look even sharper that shade of blue. But if I happend to run across a cummins cheap it would be hard not to swap her in. LOL

i found a 77 regular cab long bed dually (had a dump bed on it) 4x4, W350, no rust 86K, 318 4 speed for 1800, but i just didnt feel like spending the 1200 bucks to have it shipped, it would of made a great cummins swap or gasser sled puller with a 540 inch engine under the hood.......

when i get it all rebuilt and drive it for for about 20 or 30K miles and the newness wears off, then it will get a p-pump 12 valve (about a 600 horse twin turbo p-pump 12 valve) under the hood with a 6 speed and a gear vendors for 11 forward gears, or possibly an allison 6 speed auto with a gear vendors......i may even swap a 3rd gen front axle under it and make it a coil sprung 4wd dually......

Where are you getting aluminum heads for 800 bucks? I could use a set of those if they're any good. Thats a lot cheaper than the Indys I've been wishing for.

throw a straight front axle under her and stack it that'd be sweet! 8) i really like those western hauler beds - there's just more to em than just a reg flat bed but thats just me

if i do a 4x4 conversion on either the 77 or the 93 im going to use a 03+ dually 9.25 front axle and put all 35 spline stuff through it with a EMS free spin kit and a ARB air locker and have coilovers and a 4 link for suspension, maybe 3-4 inches over stock 4x4 height, oh and the rear will be either a matching 11.5 AAM or Dana 80 with a locker, and ill use a 271 t-case out of a 2003 and newer truck too (i need one for my pulling truck right now).......negative on the stacks though cause i dont want to cut up my bed and when your driving down the highway for several hours the drone of that stack gets annoying.......the bed came from a F550 that the previous owner cut down (very good looking job) and put on the truck
