Well, got the ice out of my sewage line, but it looks like the septic tank (or what ever the landlord buried in the ground) has a problem. Maybe the leach field is plugged or frozen.

3 years ago lots of fields froze here. We had a long cold snap with little snow to insulate the ground. If the field is froze only mother nature will cure it. What most people did here was have there tank pumped often so they could still use the pooper. Most standard tanks are 1000 gallons and that is about a weeks of use for a average 3 bedroom house. Of coarse you can conserve water and extend that greatly. Depending on what you have for a system that may work. You may have a cespool style that has a very limited capacity and a single line field. We replaced a hand made system last year that was basically a hand dug well with a pipe going in. No field at all. I have even heard of old timers burying a car and sticking the pipe in the window. As long as there is a void for the water to go into it will work. :D

My boy is in 4th grade. He told me the other day the 8th grade girls are pulling down there pants at recess and showing " Things " to the boys. They are also pulling up there shirts. Shelter them all you want, they still see what the other girls do. I went to school with girls that started the pill in 8th grade. They just start early. It sucks. I have a girl in 2nd grade and am scared to death. Good luck, your gonna need it.

Well, you don't have to worry about anybody one-upping that one.

I've got 10 and 12 year old girls. They're probably going to hate me by the time they finally leave the house someday.....
