Dave,

I'm on the Northeast end of Oahu in Waiahole (pronounced Why-ah-hoe-lay). Small little farming community. We're on the map but, if you blink, you'll miss it.

I was born and raised on Oahu. Both of my parents are from the Hamakua Coast, about 40 miles North of Hilo. I frequented that island quite a bit when my grandparents were still alive. In fact, as a youngster, that place was my stomping grounds. I miss it a lot. Be sure to contact me next time you're out this way. I've yet to meet another 1st Genner. Seriously, maybe I'm on the wrong island but, there aren't too many 1st Gens here. 2nd Gens and later are everywhere. I'm probably one of five 1st Gens on my side of Oahu. I sent you an e-mail regarding your intake.

Aloha,
Matt

Daryl,

I'm paying $3.39 for my #2 at Shell. Tesoro and Aloha Petroleum are up to $3.47. I got biodiesel for $3.23 but it's kinda out of my way on the other side of the island at one of only two places.

that's high but not as bad as i thought it would be.i'm paying 2.79 here. i guess i have a misconception of prices on the islands.

i sure would like to get out there someday but i hear the drive is a truck killer
