Hello from Alberta!

Postby off_kilter » Wed Jan 09, 2013 5:54 pm

Hi everyone! I'm originally from Nova Scotia but I'm posted in Edmonton with the Army.

I registered because tomorrow i become the owner of a 1993 extended cab W250 (4WD obviously) with a 5-speed!

Now the truck is pretty tired 500,000 KMs but the frame is straight/solid and the engine pulls strong.

Problems:

-Salvage title :(
-rusty rockers
-middle of the drivers side floor pan is going
-rear cab mounts are in need of replacement
-a couple holes in the rear fenders right above the wheels
-front grill is pretty busted up
-your standard dings and dents
-the shifter is really loose(reminds me of this ancient belarussian tractor i drove once)

the awesome:
cost me very very little money

Looking forward to asking lots of questions and finally haveing my own coal burner (daily driver is a 2010 quad cab 4x4 1400)
