Steel Dually Wheels

Postby Eric_M » Wed May 30, 2012 2:42 pm

Looking at my wheels it apears I am missing the matched front wheels, they have been swaped with something that does not have the coned areas to center the wheel  The ones that are on there only have a flat mounting surface.

When looking at Dually wheels in the steel variety which ones am I looking for? Only Dodge? will fords work? Chevys? This is all too new to me.

It would be nice if they centered when they where bolted on.
91 D350 5spd stock a little rough around the edges and needing some work but it should drag my 87 4runner around great!

From some reading it sounds like any of the older coined dually wheels ford or dodge will work. I also came across some info saying to get some coned lug nuts to center the wheel on the hub. Sounds like another trip to the parts store!

Have a pic of your rims with the flat face? I'm looking for 2 myself. I could trade you 2 of my OEM wheels that are the style you are looking for. Lug nuts, too. Putting aluminum wheels on my W350.

Dang already bolted them all back up :(

I believe they are just a chevy wheel or something like that. I would be interested but shipping is always the killer and I believe I know where a few are that I can pick up for less then shipping. I will be looking for them this weekend and see what I can find.

Thank you very much for the offer! Once I find another set and unbolt the ones I have I will send you some pictures if you are still interested?

Really trying to find a set of rims from an '01/'02 dually that had 235's on them stock. Want to put 255's on, and want to avoid spacers. Don't know the measurements to compare either. :(
