Postby collegekid » Wed Aug 03, 2011 12:32 pm

Has anyone installed front spring spacers on a 2wd truck?

Whatcha need spacers for? Front end sagging?

There is 2 ways about it:

7226 Moog Front Springs for regular lift
7226S for a front raise

The 5716 and 5716s Moog springs will give you even more height. Stock springs are around 875 lbs/inch of compression, 7226 are 1100 lbs/inch, 5716 are 1400 lbs/inch. They are all the same free standing length, its just how much the 12 valve squats them down. I thought my 5716s springs rode really rough, till I changed the factory back shocks. They were completely toast, a set of Rancho 5000's on the rear made a night and day difference in the ride.

wanna lift the front of the truck up to fit a larger tire.....Ive got a skirted flatbed on the back, and don't like how low the truck is sitting right now, so raising the front up a little is what Im looking to do
