Part of ABS?

Postby dazedandconfused » Sat Jun 11, 2011 1:47 pm

Ok right below master cylinder and attached to brake booster. Is it ABS or a proportioning valve?

Ok. Well the brown truck was just a manual brake truck with no booster and just two brake lines coming out of the master. I believe it has a proportioning valve on the frame rail so do I need to keep that one?

Don't know. I'd swap it all out if it were me

I really don't want to have to bend and replace brake lines right now.

It may be alright to just add the booster. I've done it on old chevys without ill effect.
