Diameter of stock exhaust?

I am trying to buy a piece of pipe to go where my stock muffler is. I think I have a stock replacement but not MOPAR exhaust. Diameter looks to be stock. Would it be 3"?

Mine is 3". Mine was in really good shape as well, but I'm pretty sure it's original

Thanks. I guess mine could be original too. I was looking on some site and the aftermarket replacement looked just like mine, which looks just like stock, so who knows!?

Mine looked good too until I looked at the part that goes over the differential,,,,, smashed and had holes in it. That gave me an excuse to buy a 4" exhaust.

Well I failed to notice at first that the muffler has a top entrance and a bottom exit, thus I cannot just use a straight piece of pipe. Slimy, dirty, muffler shop here I come.

I used a straight piece of pipe. If you want to do it right, yea go to a muffler shop. My thought was "nobody's ever going to see it" I should have warned you

When I did mine I heated it and tweaked it a little to get the right bends. Fit like a dream, a sooty one!
