welp, lots more work done.

got the d80 in today, really easy swap.

hardest part was getting the 4inch 2ndgen blocks centered on the spring perches, both blocks had the lower centering pins sheared off... ened up getting them centered then welding them on, gives me some piece of mind that they wont move.

then came the issue of where to mount the shocks. I ended up drilling a 1/2 inch hole in the bumpstop castings on the blocks and used some shock mount studs I had laying around, that came out good as well.

mounted the swaybar backwards for huh? and giggles... made a huge difference, much more secure in corners just blasting around on backroads.

threw dually rims on just for kicks, they extend 2 inches out past the body lines

got the 3.54 d60 front sitting waiting to go in, think ill do that on monday.
how she sits now...

all in all it came out swell, brakes feel much better as well

looks good!.. I was just searching for some one that made new spring mounts that were greasable... looks like I'll be looking up that guy you used on Ramcharger central. My bolts are REALLY bad and all the shackles and rubber bushing are shot. I'm mad because i was at my freinds scrap yard, and I pulled a np 202 and winch out of a old '60's dodge wrecker. It had new looking greaseable spring shackels and mounts / pins.. and looked real hard at them and was trying to figure and easy way to pull them out ..lol.. but that stayed on and it went in the 100 ydscrap trailer. I should have use dteh loader and my torch and grabbed them.. oh well live and learn. Do you have a link to this guy?
Thanks,
Deo

Deo, join RCC and PM him (jungle jim), he is a good guy I talked with him on the phone once when I had questions about if they would "bolt right up". he honestly told me know...which i appreciated.

anyways they are killer pieces, Im very happy with the finished product. the way they fit the frame by using the bottom lip as a shelf is great and the pieces themselves are super heavy.

worst issues... they wont work with 1ton 3/4 spring eye bolts, so the greese bolts and poly stuff is useless (im hoping i can use them up front)

the fuel tank crossmember needs to be "un-ruvited" (only on the bottom) to slid the front mounts under them (then drilled and bolted back up)

and the rear shackles, and the front perch need to be drilled out to 3/4 to accept 1ton springs.

it seems like alot, but I got it done in one LONG day, from ripping everything out, busting rivits and putting new stuff on/ drilling

good luck... I still reccomend the hangers because they are kick ass

I am on RCCC i think lol...mummn I wonder where I could find the 3/4" grease bolts and 3/4" poly bushings?... I definately want greaseable pins and bolts.. the stock rot and crack is not what i want...argh.. I don't have the stock gas tank in my truck i made this one a few years ago.
