Alright, I've been reading some old posts about people unbolting one of their rear shocks, to improve the ride on their trucks. My old man had a set of shocks installed on his truck before I bought it, and I'm pretty sure they're some sort of practical joke shock where the rod is just welded straight to the other eye. The front isn't so bad, but the rear ride is completely uncalled for.
So, I'm thinking. My truck's springs don't seem to need any help holding the truck up, so do you all think I may find a better ride in some old-school hydraulic shocks? I really have no interest in unhooking my shock, and even less interest hauling around 1500lbs of crap to weigh it down.
I've found a set of rear hydraulic shocks, just looking for a reason to buy them.
