Side steps opinions and help

Postby Jklawinsky » Sun Jun 05, 2011 3:50 pm

Been looking at putting some side steps on the old girl because everyone finds it difficult to get in and figure I need some steps before the bigger tires. Came across these

Think these would work? Kinda wondering if anyone has anything similar also so I could see a pic

Thanks!

I have those on my truck.

Those mount by big sheet metal screws threw your inner rocker panel. If your inner and outer rocker panels are not rusted threw. They work all right. You will see the steps drop when a heavier person steps on them.

Thanks for the help and the rocker is pretty solid with no rust so it should be fine. There is two mounting styles, did you get the one with the lip on the bottom or the one that mounts flush. oh and thanks for the pic I think they look pretty good... Got a pic of the rest of the truck?
