Anyone have an aftermarket sliding window that fits flush?

Postby Diesel » Tue Jun 07, 2011 7:35 am

I am looking for one of those 4 panel aftermarket slider windows to replace my fixed window. I just don't want it to pop out a bunch from the cab. Does anyone have the AGA brand slider?

Does that sit flush like the factory fixed panel glass?

I have an aftermarket tinted rear slider, seems to sit flush to me but i would have to check. The truck is in the bodyshop right now so i wont be able to check it for awhile. I do not recall the brand of window but i can do some digging and find out. I had it installed last year and it was $275 CAD, my local glass shop sourced it for me.

Awesome! If you can find out for me that would spectacular. I would rather take one on a recommendation than just randomly order. My trucks going to go in to have the cab and front clip painted so I want to have this glass in hand so I can confidently remove the rear window and know that I'll have a replacement when the truck is back.

Not looking for factory because I want the wider opening of 2 moving panels. I will go factory if I can't find a flush fitting aftermarket. Looks like there is another aftermarket one for our trucks made by CRL:

Anyone have experience with that brand and how it fits?

I was told stock had 1 moving panel? In that case I would be ok with stock... Sending message now.

Thanks for the link. So you have the CRL slider - it sits flush on the outside? Hows it look on the inside?

Thats just what I needed to see! I appreciate the pictures! So is there like a "gutter" area on the window that sticks out past the rubber seal? Or does the window sit flush into the seal?
