Brakes all around.

Postby dantheman300z » Fri Nov 08, 2013 8:41 am

Hey guys, wanting to do brakes all around. Rotors, pads, shoes, and drums. 1993 w250. The front axles are 4500 pounders but I do not know how to tell what rear drum I need and shoes. Also where is the best place to get brake parts for these trucks? I was looking on rock auto and the prices seemed fair. Any info would be greatly appreciated

Run 3" wide rear shoes, 2.5" are offered too, but why not when the drums are the same. They are completely interchangeable.

The drums are 12 inch drums. I changed mine from 2.5 to 3 inch shoes way back when my cousin owned it. Just put in the wider shoes, nothing else was changed.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.
