Sagging Headliner

Replacing the headliner isn't really all that difficult or expensive, but it's a PITA, this took me less than 10 five minutes to do and was free. Just a piece of 1/4 birch strapping that I cut to 52 1/4 inches and beveled the ends. It took a little pushing to get it in there, but I gained about 8 inches of headroom back. It looks better in person but I may add two more anyways to tighten it up a bit more.

I bought some headliner material at a local fabric shop. Remove the headliner, scrape off the old foam and material. Spray with adhesive spray, press the new cloth in place and reinstall. Cost about $30 and a couple hours.

I went the same route as the birch rips. If you don't like the look, paint to match and they disappear. Costs virtually nohing, quick and easy.

Grab a can of Plasti-dip coat it and let it sit for a couple hours. It has a nice flat finish that blends well.
