Im building Steel FSS plungers for anyone intersted. Common problem with VE trucks is blowing the tip of the FSS plunger apart and the truck not shutting off. I built my first one for my personal truck because my wife couldnt pull on my shut off cable hard enough to kill my truck . Took the rubber off and welded the tip. Then chuck it up in a lathe and turn it down to .001 below the specs of the rubber tip. Ive built three more and they all perform exactly as the rubber tip plunger. I have video and pics if anyone would like to see.
