Details are necessary otherwise it's just showing off. :D Seriously, nice work. Is it all sheetmetal? I can't tell if it's polished plastic or painted metal from the pictures. I need to do this in my truck, the cobbled together gauge mounts I've got now don't look very good.

It would be nicer if you had the same style for all the gauges. :P

Good work, it looks really good. Where are you going to mount that thing?

You pecker head. :D They are all ev isspro gauges. The tach has a white pointer. They do not make a ev tach with a red pointer. I really like the colored pryo. I also got the colored volt meter to match. I am putting it on the dash. I still will be able to see the edge of the hood so I will not be blocking vision. I was going to work on it today but the cold is a pain. I am going to be a while hooking up all those gauges. :evil:

Well its not show quality. I just wanted a no nonsense pod. It is made from flat tin. The face is 3/16 or 1/4 aluminum. I resessed the aluminum so it would be flush with the face. A few layers of glass bondo, regular bondo, spot putty and some spray paint. Polished the aluminum with 1200 grit block sander with WD 40 for lubricant.

Thanks Richie, the extra pictures and descriptions are really helpful. I was figuring on making one out of sheetmetal and holding it together with JB Weld. I never thought about smoothing it out with Bondo.

Thanks. This is going in the 93. I keep looking at the truck ouside then look at the temp and say no way. Kinda hard to work on stuff when your hands stick to the frosty tools.
