My last run on the VE....

Saturday, I made the last passes with the first gen under VE power at a benefit pull for the cancer society. My friend Dan got video and hopefully I can get that posted for everybody. I did beat up on another duramax in case anybody wonders. Overall I made a respectable showing but, it's simply not enough anymore. I did however, set a new max boost number of 65psi on the first run. I never thought I'd worry about blowing a big frame turbo with a VE motor.

Over the next few months a lot of changes are going to transform old locomotive breath and bring it new life. Thanks to all who followed the truck, hope you will continue to follow it in the future. I actually decided to sell the 12mm P7100 I had just built and just get wild and go 13mm quick cam, new motor, individual runner manifold on the head, 271, and a different rear axle depending on rules out east, local rules, whining, and other BS.

I haven't really decided anything on its future yet, I suppose I would let it go for a good working intercooled (205) pump and some fair amount of cash. Pyrometers don't like that pump , it puts out some fuel.

yea that was me, i thought about it, but didnt wanna bug ya, that and we had to see if my power steering fix would work lol peace of rubber and a hose clamp over the hose
