Got some new numbers from Smokin in the Bluegrass in Paris KY on saturday. 501hp and 9** ft lb tq on dunbars dyno. 6x16's, 14mm H&R, and a SPS 62. On the last run the ole girl ran away and ended up seizing the head and rotor which also ended up junkin the cam plate, etc....didnt hurt the motor none but im gonna have to put new back brakes on it now. :shock:

Still tryin to figure out why it ran away. But anyways ill have sheets up tonight and the video up in acouple days. Id wouldnt recomend it to the faint of heart. It will prolly make some of you sick! And im also gonna have to rig up a air shut off in the intake now just for good measure.

Thanks, yea fuel only. Theres no bottle on my truck anymore. It was ppumped for a while but that motor found its way into a tractor. I would post the charts but im not sure how. They are in my gallery over on dtr.

Just got done makin my first ever dyno run

I was hopin for at least 300hp, I put down 402hp and 865tq :hs:

I am more than happy with that. That was with my custom ground fuel pin, 40%meth, 3200spring, BHAF, 4" turbo back, Long bolt instead of smoke screw holding the fuel pin all the way down all the time, piston LP, IP tight against the head, mystery intercooler on a non-ic truck, HX-40, fuel screw 1/8 turn from a runaway. I think that's all I have done. It was run in 4th gear, and I didn't get a chance to run it on #2 only. I don't know if they used any kind of correction factor or not, but we are at near sea level here and it was overcast and like 60 outside.

Jammer what kind of boost will your truck hit WOT? Do you have studs or O-ring head?

At WOT with the pdr HX-40, and a adjustable boost elbow I can hit a max boost of 40PSI. I still have the stock head bolts. My head gasket has potentially had a small leak allowing combustion to get into the coolant for a little while now, and It finally let go all today. After I got home from the dyno run I checked fluids and found that I was a gallon low on coolant, and it didn't boil out. There is also a lot of black soot in the radiator. I think it might be the original head gasket, so it's had a good life. I also found that my ground fuel pin was broken, due to me over tightening the long bolt I put in, to replace my smoke screw. I think this had my pump fueling like my afc lever was removed.

Interesting that they ran your truck in 4th. Last spring when I ran on that dyno they ran my truck in 5th. Great numbers, sorry to hear about the carnage. Time to visit Source for some studs and an o-ring job on the cylinder head. :lol:

Since you don't have a tach, how did they determine engine speed? Did they just plot power against mph?

I'm not sure how they got my engine rpm. I didn't know I could ride along in the truck when they ran it, so I didn't see what they did. I think they might have just plugged some kind of pickup into my cigarette lighter. My dyno sheet has mph on it not rpm, so I'm gonna stop by there tomorrow and get them to re print it with the engine rpm.

I'm still runnin the stock non-I/C injectoers. I do have two water/meth injectors that are pushin a total of 28gph.

I asked them when I was there in March and they said if the truck doesn't have a tach they just print it out in MPH. They have an rpm pickup for the crank, but they don't use it on dyno days because it takes a while to set up (their words). I was riding in my truck when they ran it, they take it up to 2000rpm and set their computer to 2000rpm. Saves them from having to input tire sizes and gear ratios.

Edit: Do you know what your axle ratio is? If you do, send that and the actual measurement from the ground to the center of the axle hub on the rear axle and I can work backwards to engine rpm for mph on a spreadsheet I have worked out for this. Also, send me the image of the dyno sheet so I can see what mph they plotted and I'll get you the respective rpms. If they can get you a sheet with rpm's, disregard this part of the post. :lol:

Sam, fast is close to were I work, so I'm just gonna stop by and see if they can reprint my sheet. They did what you were sayin about takin the truck up to a certain rpm and settin the computer though, I just don't know how they got the rpm reading.
