- Dunno about the app. (I figure it's pretty smart if I can remember the phone number that goes with the name I scroll to in the phone
).
- Based on my experience, your speed is pretty good in the eighth.
How much does your truck weigh?
What size tires (diameter)?
Are you making your passes in 4WD?
What kind of boost are you seeing at the intake-log (on the side of the head) @ WOT, turbo @ full-song?
What kind of air-filter?
Are you running your passes with the KSB active?
What does your smoke look like at the top of 3rd gear (color/density)?
Did a 10 psi boosted launch. Wonder if that messes anything up.
You say your trans is built, . . . what does that mean/entail?
If you were to compare the former stock converter to the new converter, how much tighter would you say it is?
I would say the ten psig launch may be testing your front clutch. Keep an ear out for it slipping as it engages the next gear during a pass. When you hear it, that means: (1) you just toasted that clutch and (2) you need to raise the line pressure and/or add more clutch/steels. The only way to know I guess is to run it till it pukes.
What kind of shafts do you have in the trans? My stock/OEM shafts did alright with 10psi launches, . . . 25+ psig, . .. . . not so much.
