Hey guys I have been experiencing some transmission issues. In the morning on the way to work, before the truck is all the way warmed up, the tranny will shift in and out of OD while going highway speeds. it does it 5 or 6 quick times in a 10 or so seconds and thats it. The tranny is also shifting late too at all times. Thanks for any help
It's called a potentiometer, actually. It replaces the TPS with a dash-mounted knob that you can set to your liking, rather than depend on the TPS, which can be really spendy to replace.
I think there's a couple of write-ups over on DTR for the POT conversion.

If you don't have cruise control, it's the only cable on the throttle bracket. Otherwise, the TV cable goes down to the driver's side of the transmission.
