Difference in drive shafts between the 3 and 4 speeds?

Postby Begle1 » Mon Nov 19, 2007 4:11 pm

My new 4 speed's on its way.

I should get away with just a front driveshaft and yoke out of a 93, correct? Anything else?

I am pretty sure the driveshafts are the same in 727 and getreg trucks but I know the 518 is longer so I think you will need both shafts out of a 518 truck.

Why would I need both?

Isn't the carrier bearing/ rear drive shaft assembly the same for all years?
