47rh trans controller

Postby kyled19 » Mon Oct 17, 2016 11:36 am

So I ran across this in my search to figure out how to control lockup automatically when I do my swap from a a518 2wd to the 2wd 47rh. Anyone heard of it before? any thoughts? It looks to me like it might work extremely well I will just have to find someone or figure out how to program it myself (which programming myself scares me because I know nothing about transmissions) I really want to put this tranny in and have it controlled completely automatically I want it to be like it came from the factor with the 47rh in it. I think this may be my solution. All input is appreciated, even a different way to control lockup automatically I want to hear everyone's thoughts and ideas.

Here is the link to the controller

I've been looking at those and the Firepunk Anteater.

I saw the firepunk but it is more expensive and looks a little more complicated to work with.

I have one. One of these days, when the swap stops fighting against me I'll get it installed. The only problem with the Compu is it doesn't have built in over rides. Easily solved with switches.

That is exactly what i was thinking. Putting in a 3 position switch for over drive and one lockup so they can be set to auto (controlled by computer), on, or off. Im not super good with wiring though so I would have to get help wiring the switches into the compushift harness.

Pin 9 with the green/white wire is lock up, pin 10 with the blue/yellow wire is overdrive. I will be using the original OD switch for over drive and a toggle switch for lock up over ride..
