Need help securing lockdown cable to trans

Postby Collers9640 » Mon May 13, 2019 8:24 am

Does anyone have a remedy for securing the kick down cable to the ball stud on the transmission. The white plastic piece that snaps on the ball stud is apparently worn out enough to cause it to pop off

A couple of Zip ties is all I can think of.

Try a solder gun to melt the edges and push them in to tighten the hole. If you need filler, a white zip tie might work.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.
