DTT converters on sale now...

For anyone interested, if you've got an A-518 now may be a good time to 'do' the converter.

DTT's having a sale now and the 'uber' 1st gen converters are $695 - Not bad y'all. The sale is good through the end of December.

I've had a DTT unit in my '93 for a couple years now and I love it, and I just ordered one for 'El Nacho' so I figured I'd post up about the sale in case anyone is looking. There's lots of good converters out there and I'm not saying the others are sub-par

They dont do one for th 727?

As I understand, the converters for the diesel 518's would be the same for the diesel 727s (non-intercooled rigs), and considering the 3.07 gears in those trucks these HD converters would make those feel like a new truck.

All the power mods are nearly irrellevant without a good converter to get it to the ground.

would yall recomend a dtt converter or a suncoast?
92 d350, arp's, orings, 150lb springs, 4200 gsk ,ground pin ,64/71/14 ,ddp inj's, ats manifold, tim's tubez, ats trans, FASS, locker, timing + a tooth, bcdd intake

2001 2wd rclb dually 5sp, smarty, Bluechip FMS, TS MVP, 57/75 twins, stainless diesel pipe kit, valair clutch, airdog 150, DFI SAC 7x.014's, cheap a$$ intake, ARP studs, oringed head, CPP 115# springs

I can't tell you from personal experience, but I have heard some bad stories about Suncoast.

When I do my tranny, I will be going Goerend all the way. I haven't heard one bad thing about him or his products. I'm sure the DTT converter is very good as well, but I guess its really up to who you prefer.

yes - in my opinion they are the among the best converters on the market. I have one in my other '93 Ram and it is literally night and day better than the factory unit. Here's a quick link -
