Starter does not crank.

For others who may have starter issues, on my 90 w250 my key wouldnt crank the starter. The screwdriver on the starter would start the truck. So after trying to chase the wires for a while my buddy decided to try give the steering column a love tap while turning the key. The truck starts up now with a little jiggle and or tap of the steering column.
