I also got the rest of the floor and ceiling Painted with that stuff, and started taking the paint off around the drip rail and all of the seams with this stuff

Its not the best stuff in the world, but for like $4 It works pretty good.
Also started sanding on the roof tonight and its looking like its gonna be fairly easy to sand the whole thing :D

Oh yea, and i figured out how to get this mess back to actually having factory plugs
Image

And i have no message center plug in, its like it just never exhisted, i looked on my old cab, and back at this one, and the wires go into a completely different direction? :? At this point it looks like trying to put a plug in for the message center would be alot more work than its worth

WOW! That 1st crack is bad! Mine looked like the 2nd one. I had that radio mess too. I cut 2 new plugs out of a truck in the junkyard and wired it back in. The speaker side I ran right to the speakers, I had no factory wiring for them.

Isn't that the message center plug on the last pic, just left and above the cargo light? It has a yellow ring around it. Or is that the dash plug? I haven't had my dash out in almost a year so I forgot.

A good belt will fix that issue.

Yea, the picture actually makes it look worse
And thats the dash plug like you said Pete. I swear it just doesnt have one  I havnt found anything that points to someone just cut it out.

Whats the best way to fix that big crack? weld it shut, then weld a plate over that? or just weld it up?
also managed to get the roof pretty well sanded and even got my front windshield out.... But not without cracking it :bh:

You take that rubber locking strip out, and then peel back the gasket as good as you can while pushing on the inside at the same time is what our body man said,Would have be cheaper and easier if i just had him come out and help me,
Oh yea, and "NO SCREWDRIVERS!"
we just barely pushed out on mine and it cracked

Save yourself the headache and cut the old rubber out. You can buy a new rubber a lot cheaper then the windshield.

Yup, i think close to 3 years old now. Laziest dog we've ever had,lol He would much rather just be a 125lb lap dog
He is really good at catching coons though, theres usually at least one in our yard every other week  And the occasional deer that he will pull out of the creek by our house.

I know what you mean. We have Labs and they're mostly lap dogs that just happen to be really good bird dogs too
