I aint ready for this yet, but has anyone used the carpet from rock auto? Also what is the difference between ultra plush and cutpile?
http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?parttype=1001107
Will probably just get 2wd automatic carpet so i can cut my own holes for my 4wd and 6speed
Also, anyone ever used there throttle cable or know if that fits?

you will be cutting your own holes no matter what. carpet companies mold the carpet to the correct floor pan for whatever vehicle it is, they don't cut out any shifter holes.

One of my favorite things to do is look for truck that have soft gaskets and cracked windshields, at which point they have broken windshields in the beds and I have a nice, soft gasket for later usage, after I cut a nice windshield out later on.

I can do a windshield by myself in about an hour, so noone makes money on me in that department. 8)

A trick for a softening up a rubber gasket is to apply liberal amounts of brake fluid to it and let it sit awhile.

I haven't found a soft one yet but only messed with about 10 of them. Im sure you have messed with many more though Mark.

"Soft" is a relative term, even when new they are hardly as pliable as, say an inner tube.
If you try to fold over a lower corner and it either breaks (Which means it's REALLY hard), or it doesn't basically snap back into place, the gasket has hardened.

I'm under the same impression. I think I'm just going to reinstall the CTD badges when all's said and done with mine. I like clean sheetmetal, but I hate the faggieness of the debadged trend

Yea, if i can get my hands on a set of badges il put them on but just not the trim.
Got the outside of one door done yesterday then got tired of sanding and brought in my interior trim pieces and got them ready to paint tonight except for one piece that is broke in half that i need to put back together. All of that freakin glue on that back piece where there used to be a strip of carpet is a pain in the ass to get off

If it's oily, use laquer thinner, parts solvent or similar.
If it's calcified, do it right, spend the $$ and take it to a shop and have it rodded out.
Anything else runs the risk of destroying it.

I have several good non-intercooled and a spare intercooled radiator (did you switch?), if you mess up. 8)
