With all due respect BC, who put you in charge?

Thanks for your input Bill. Your question would go good here: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=14149&p=121197

I've done business with a member here that had something like 30 posts. I never spoke on the phone to him, just communicated by PM. I operated on trust and he was a stand up guy. Mike T (?) was the user name. I'd give him a 6 star rating if I could, but he sold his truck and he's gone now.

In my two short years in the ballgame, I've met the majority of the regulars and they are stand up guys. Everyone I have met in person is genuine and honest. My common sense says don't trust someone until you know them. It's much safer that way.

I was sorry to hear that Pete got burned on a deal, but that's what the world is coming to unfortunately. You can't trust anyone until you know them and they build a reputation with you personally.

You can build all the trust you want with a person and can still be rue rued in the pooper by that same person. Don't matter.
With that tread that BC referenced,I learned a couple of things.....one folks can change their opinions quickly and two someone that it would benefit the most is against any such feedback,weird..... whatever
I'll say this, if I get screwed.....everybody will know,period!

Oh and Bill, how about next time you have a firm opinion on something of this sort, post up. I could have used another member adding a positive towards my thoughts.

True, but those types develop a reputation quickly that can sometimes never be shaken.

Stuff happens guys. I'm just lucky I didn't have big money tied up in the deal. I won't deal with him again, end of story. ;)

I wish you 100% luck on that.....it has not been my experiences.
